• handle payments between buyers and sellers;
• mediate or resolve disputes;
• guarantee delivery, collection, or fulfilment of any sale.

Users understand and agree that all transactions are undertaken at their own risk.

4. User Accounts

Users must:

• maintain the confidentiality of login details;
• ensure that information provided is accurate and up to date;
• not impersonate any individual or business;
• not create multiple accounts without permission;
• notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or pose a risk to the platform.

5. User-Generated Content and Listings

5.1 Acceptable Listings

Users may only post motorsport-related items or services that:

• they legally own and have the right to sell;
• are described truthfully and accurately;
• include images and media they own or are authorised to use;
• comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

5.2 Prohibited Listings

Users must not post:

• update or amend our Prohibited Items Policy at any time;
• restrict visibility or ranking of listings;
• request additional information or identification.

We do not guarantee that any listing will generate enquiries, interest, or sales.

6. Fees, Subscriptions, and Payments

6.1 Fees

Users agree to pay:

• listing fees;
• subscription fees;
• promotional upgrade fees;
• any other charges displayed on the Site.

6.2 Payment Processing

Payments are handled securely by Stripe. We do not store card details.

6.3 No Refunds

All listing, subscription, and promotional fees are non-refundable. This applies regardless of:

• listing performance;
• user error;
• account suspension or termination;
• removal of listings for policy violations.

6.4 Removal of Listings

We may remove or disable any listing that:

• breaches these Terms;
• appears fraudulent or unsafe;
• involves prohibited items;
• undermines the integrity of the platform.

No refunds will be issued.

6.5 Subscription Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.

6.6 Price Changes

We may change prices at any time. New prices apply on renewal unless cancelled beforehand.

7. Prohibited Behaviour

Users must not:

• engage in fraud, deception, or misrepresentation;
• post false or misleading information;
• harass, threaten, or abuse any user;
• upload malware, harmful code, or attempt unauthorised access;
• scrape, copy, or replicate content from the Site;
• bypass fees or attempt to transact fraudulently;
• use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

Any breach may result in immediate suspension or termination.

8. Messaging System

Our internal messaging tool may be monitored for trust and safety.

Users must not:

• send spam, abusive messages, or explicit content;
• request unnecessary personal data;
• attempt to defraud users;
• solicit off-platform transactions for the purpose of avoiding fees.

We may restrict messaging access at any time.

9. Off-Platform Transactions

If you choose to communicate or transact outside the Site, you do so entirely at your own risk. The Motorsport Hangar is not responsible for:

• payments made outside the platform;
• communications conducted externally;
• disputes, losses, or damages arising from off-platform activity.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or notify law enforcement as required.

Any "Verified" status, badge, or identity check:

• is based solely on information provided by the user;
• does not guarantee legitimacy, reliability, or legal compliance;
• may be revoked at any time.

We accept no liability for decisions made in reliance on verification features.

12. Intellectual Property

All branding, logos, designs, and content on the Site are the property of The Motorsport Hangar.

Users retain copyright in content they upload but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to:

• store, reproduce, display, and publish such content;
• use it for promotional or operational purposes.

Users must not copy or reuse Site content without permission.

14. Service Availability

We accept no liability for losses arising from:

Sellers are solely responsible for:

We do not provide tax guidance and are not responsible for sellers' tax obligations.

• disputes between users;
• unsafe, defective, or counterfeit items;
• consequential, indirect, or special losses;
• loss of profits, data, revenue, or business reputation;
• unauthorised access resulting from weak passwords;
• off-platform communications or transactions.

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for purpose, and non-infringement.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, as required by UK law.
