Description
Exceptional Chevron B16, presented in outstanding condition after a compelte mechanical overhaul, for sale due to upgrade to LMP900 project prototype.
The entire drivetrain and chassis have only 3 hours of use since the rebuild, making this car effectively as new and ready to race.
Powered by a BMW M10 engine, renowned for its robustness and with an expected service life of around 30 hours between rebuilds - this particular engine has only 3 hours of running since its full rebuild by MM Engines (Marco Maccagnani)
Work carried out:
- Complete engine rebuild by MM Engines - new pistons, rings, valves & bearings
- 48mm Weber carburettors fully rebuilt
- Dampers rebuilt (hydraulics)
- New final drive gear set
- Anti-stone protection film on windscreen
- New gripper plate differential (replacing ramp type)
- New cluth
- All new brake components and differential hubs
- New harnesses (valid until 2025)
- Full geometry and setup by Davide Melandri, renowned by Chevron specialist

- FIA HTP valid until 31/12/2031
- Fuel cell valid until 2027
